Hi, Everyone. We trust that all is well with you. To-day is our 58th Wedding Anniversary! The sun is shining beautifully, just like it was 58 years ago.
We actually began our small 2 person celebration on Saturday at noon when we went to the Senior Centre to purchase our tickets for the Kamloops "Old Time Fiddlers" Dinner and dance to be held that evening. The tickets also included the "Fiddling Competition" for contestants from B.C. We quickly rushed across the street to have our lunch and returned to see the competition. How fortunate that we did ... as we were treated to marvelous 'old time' music. We were so lucky to witness a 12 year old True Prodigy from Victoria that played music beyond belief. He and his music were really something to behold.You had to see it to believe the level of playing and how naturally he presented his playing. Wow!. He definitely came 1st in every category he could play in. We are already waiting and hoping he comes back next year. Another highlight of the evening was when all musicians joined in the "Jam" ... How good for the Soul.
Sunday, we began with going to our Morning Church Service at St. Peter's at Monte Creek and then decided to drive on to "Fintry" an Historic home and Farm which is now a Provincial Park. Such Beauty in over 1000 acres of land on the Shores of Okanagan Lake. We already say ... we must go back to take pictures.
